Making Mommy Magic With Halloween Popcorn

I don’t have time to do all.the.things. But I really love making ordinary moments special and I know that my kids feel loved when they can tell I put a little extra effort into some fun surprise for them!

Those fun little extras are known as “mommy magic” in our household. The same “mommy magic” powers are why mom’s kisses make ouchies feel better and why when I make a sandwich for them it tastes better than when they make a sandwich for themselves. 😂

So when I have an idea that I can make happen in all of five minutes AND I know it will make a fun impression, I run with it!

How To Make Halloween Popcorn Ghost Snack Cups

If you’re anything like me, now that the idea is in your head, you’ll want to make these ASAP. You’re not going to believe how easy it is make this super fun halloween popcorn snack idea!

Gather a few supplies:

  • Clear plastic cups
  • Black Sharpie
  • Popcorn (you could buy the pre-popped kind to make it even easier!)

And then follow these easy steps:

  1. Pop the popcorn.popped popcorn ready to go into the halloween popcorn ghost snack cups
  2. Use the Sharpie to draw ghost faces on the clear plastic cups.
  3. Add popcorn to the cups. Quick note – we opted for 16 oz cups because that’s what we happened to have on hand when inspiration struck, but if you wanted to do this for a larger group, smaller cups would still work perfectly!a picture of a finished halloween popcorn ghost snack cup with some spooky candles in the background
  4. Give them to your children and enjoy your Halloween popcorn together! (Bonus points if you take a cute picture and tag @momlifemadeeasy!) My middle child immediately wanted to make his own and because I believe in the power of saying “yes,” I told him to make one!a whole bunch of finished halloween popcorn ghost snack cups with different faces and some spooky candles in the background
