This Happy Halloween Coloring Page is FREE and just the thing when you want to do a festive themed activity but don’t have a spare second to plan! My kids love doing their own crazy art projects– we even have a permanent art center for open-ended creativity! Even so, they ALWAYS enjoy a good coloring page.

Using The Happy Halloween Coloring Page
Try as I may to get my kids to love those fancy beeswax crayons… they LOVE markers, especially Silly Scents! I can’t complain.. Crayola markers are SO easy to clean up when the baby scribbles all over the tile, walls, table, etc. I have a feeling the crayons would take a little more scrubbing.
Still- I’m glad the older kids are starting to show an interest in colored pencils. I’ve heard it’s good for them to experience the different shading a crayon or pencil can provide. I wouldn’t know for sure, because I’m far from a creative expert!
Anywho.. the point of all of that is to say coloring pages are great. I’m of the opinion they shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Let your kids use markers.. colored pencils.. beeswax crayons.. or even the ones they brought home from the restaurant!
All you need to do is DOWNLOAD (below), PRINT, and let them COLOR! My kids were dying to hang the beautifully imperfect finished product up. They took a mixed media approach, using markers, colored pencils, and crayons:
